The Green Flag

Last year our school was awarded the green flag. Ms Mc Monagle and the green committee worked very hard to achieve this. We recycled our rubbish, recycled unwanted clothes, carried out a spring clean of our school and the surrounding area, planted lots of flowers, vegetables, three trees and hedging around our new school. Here are some pictures of our activities.

GREEN SCHOOL

The Green School committee works hard to keep the school clean , but of course the other classes help too, even the youngest of classes help recycle.
Ms. McMonagle is in charge of the green school committee. Last year we got our green flag, this year we are working on energy saving.

Pitch Clean-up

Every Monday Mr.Patton takes four people from 6th class to clean up the pitch.
They collect stones and litter from it incase somebody might fall and hurt themselves.
