Planting

We started planting fruit and vegetables last week. We are planting strawberries, lettuce, carrots, spinach and potatoes. It's great fun and we have to listen closely to the instructions. We have to water them every 2 - 3 days. They could die easily if we get it wrong. It is very important that we keep the strawberries at the right temperature also.

Our Robotics Trip

We went to the lyit on the 11th of November. We went to a show called robotics. There was a skeloton called Freddie there were lots of gadets on him. You had to blow into a little tube and he sang a song. He sang loads of songs for us he was really funny. In the future they said life will be easier. There will be loads of new things in the future such a car that can sense if any other cars are coming too close and can avoid a crash. One of the students made a model of this car.
Here is another useful thing: if an elderly person was living on there own and fell their phone (which they would have to keep in their pocket) would automically text a message to someone to get help. A lot of these things are very useful. It would be great for us to have them in everyday life. Hopefully the things that some of the students made will become successful. We wish all the students good luck with their designs.

Finn Harps Visit

We were visited by Oisin Mc Menamin. He was telling us about healthy eating and keeping fit. He plays for Finn Harps. They gave us free tickets and a poster
